Babies Morph into Little People!
[February 20, 2012] Darien and Grace, now 6 1/2, are
turning into the cutest little people you've ever seen. Grace and Darien's imagination is running
wild - every day is something pretend: dance show, school, building a mountain of pillows so the
monster can have a home, and their favorite: playing mommy and daddy. Everyday is a new mess
to clean up, but they are both
little sweet hearts who will give you a hug or kiss whenever you ask them
for one.
If you have a chance, take a second to check out the new pictures in the baby photo album.

Telarus Monthly Billing Passes $5M
In 2002, Adam Edwards and I launched a t1 line (1.5 Mbps)
sales company called Telarus. In December 2011 we reached
$5,100,000 in monthly billing, making us the internets' leading web site for T1, DS3, MPLS, and now Ethernet price quoting. This growth can be attributed to our talented group of 1000
full-time broadband consultants, over 2000 VAR Partners,
our awesome sales managers, our world-class IT department, and our network of 50,000 online marketing affiliates.
The momentum of real-time t1 price quotes, powered by GeoQuote
is phenomenal! Here we are on the the August 2008 front cover of US Business Review. [Telarus News]

eMaxDirect
In 2002 I helped found an online education and training company called eMaxDirect,
with Troy Carl, CEO, and Bill Bergfeld, CFO. I created the
web site and conducted monthly training
meetings which focused on online search engine optimization.

Cognigen
From 1999-2002 I helped pioneer the world's first self-replicating
telecommunication sales portal.
Having just gone public amid the internet gold rush
of the late '90's, Kevin Anderson gave me the honor of being Cognigen's first Webmaster.
I still maintain and operate a very successful Cognigen agency and earn a very
nice residual income from the business.

CheapRates.com
I started CheapRates.com in 1997 just 3 months after graduating from BYU.
Although I had a great engineering career going, I wanted to experiment
with internet sales of cheap long distance rates
and cheap travel rates. The
experiment was a huge success, and will continue taking orders 24 hours/day well
into the future.

TRW Space & Defense
From 1997-1999 I worked as a high-speed analog circuit designer for the
defense contractor TRW, now Northrop Grumman.
I designed a classified digital communication chip that is now
in space helping to protect our country. |

My Family
I married Debbie Dyer in June, 1994, shortly after returning home from my LDS (Mormon) Mission
to Madrid Spain. Debbie
graduated from BYU in 1996, and earned her Masters in 2000 from Western University of Health
Science. She worked as a Physical Therapist from 2000-2005, and is a full-time mom raising our twins, Darien and Grace.

Brigham Young University
I earned a Bachelors and Masters degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering
from BYU where I became a published author.
(IEEE Paper)
I graduated in the undergraduate Honors Program and completed minor degrees in Physics, Mathematics,
and Spanish. My freshman year I walked on to
the football team as a wide receiver
and had a great time! My education at BYU has been the backbone of my technical achievements.

Hobbies
My two favorite past times developed as a result of my environment. From 1997-2004, when I lived
in Southern California, I began surfing and skateboarding.
Now that I live in Utah, I have turned to triathlon
to help me get my adrenaline rush!

Sports Zone
Plain and simple, I love sports. I enjoy playing futbol (soccer), basketball, horse shoes, golf,
and participating (wining) triathlons!
My favorite teams are the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Oakland Raiders, the new MLS franchise,
Real Salt Lake, and the one and only Real Madrid. |
